Discover Bucharest City

Bucharest pulses with a lively energy, blending cosmopolitan vibes with a rich tapestry of cultural influences. The city boasts an exceptional architectural legacy, showcasing grand buildings, Neoclassical homes, and stunning churches.

As the heart of Romania's culture, finance, industry, and commerce, Bucharest invites you to explore its grand character, revealing striking monuments, historic streets, vibrant scenes, and some truly remarkable museums. At the city's core lies the Palace of the Parliament, renowned as the second-largest administrative building globally and a sight to behold. Spanning over 330,000 square meters and featuring more than 3,000 rooms, it also houses the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of the Palace, and the Museum of Communist Totalitarianism.

Bucharest's Old Town is the pulsating heart of the city, featuring charming cobblestone streets lined with restaurants, cafes, and shops, alongside buildings that date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. It's a must-visit for travelers and a popular gathering spot for locals. Revolution Square, named after the Romanian Revolution of December 1989, showcases some of Bucharest's most impressive architecture, including the Royal Palace, home to the National Art Museum, and the iconic Romanian Athenaeum.

For a breath of fresh air, Cismigiu Park, established in the mid-19th century, offers a lush retreat with a picturesque lake that creates a magical atmosphere. Another highlight is the Arch of Triumph, originally built from wood to commemorate Romanian soldiers from World War I, which was later reconstructed in granite in 1936. Lastly, be sure to explore Bucharest's churches, particularly the Stavropoleos Monastery, and visit Curtea Veche in the Old Town, a small museum that was once the presidential palace of Vlad III Dracula.
